We absolutely love the essential indoor energy burner guide! It has been a life saver this winter season and my extremely active 20-month-old daughter loves the activities, especially the washing basket scooter and movement with music. My girl is a proper nature and outdoors girl, these sensory bases are perfect for at home play and don’t require much to set up. Her favourite was the car wash. Lots of messy and texture fun that helps develop senses and keeps them entertained. My Bub absolutely loves it!
We’ve really enjoyed using the Indoor Energy Buster cards! The activities are really quick to set up — some literally take seconds, which I love. Other activity cards/books we’ve used can suggest lots of different items and quite a bit of preparation, so these feel much more realistic for everyday life. We tried the couch fort building, cushion mountain climbing and toy clean-up activities first, and my little one loved them all. We spent around 20 minutes jumping on the cushions, and the toy clean-up kept him entertained for about 15 minutes. Best of all, because we’d done an activity together, he then happily played independently for a little while afterwards. They’re brilliant to have to hand when I’m feeling out of ideas or just need something quick and easy that I wouldn’t have thought of myself. My little one has just turned 2, so I think we’ll get even more use out of them as he gets older!
Absolutely love these activities! They require minimal setup time and use equipment you already have at home. Great ideas and I like how each activity is fun and engaging but also includes adaptions for different age groups and the developmental benefits. Even better when my toddler would rather do these activities than have screen time!
My daughter is nearing 11 months and is curious, active and full of energy. We've been loving this resource, especially with all the wet winter days! It takes away the stress of trying to think of activities to keep my little one engaged, and there are so many fun, practical ideas. I also love that the activities can be adapted for all ages, so it's something that will grow with my baby and be useful for years to come. Such a worthwhile resource! My bub loved the tugging box of ribbons activity. Instead we improvised with what we had at home, and used a small gift box and some silk play scarves we had. My girl spent endless minutes so engrossed in her play pulling them out. Highly highly recommend! 🩷
A great resource when I had run out of ideas. Love that it included differentiation so I could adapt the activities to my babies age. Such simple tasks I would have never even thought of!
We absolutely love the guide, there are so many different activities we’ve had a brilliant time exploring them and there’s still lots left for us to try. I really like that there are modifications for older and younger children so the guide can grow with your children and you can make sure the activity is developmentally appropriate for your child.
We had so much fun reading through all the activities in the book - my four year old loves the toilet roll zip lines and we made them strong enough to transport his matchbox cars. We had to duck under the stings all day but he loved coming back to it when he came into the kitchen! My 11 month old loved the ribbon tugging box I made, Mr 4 even had a play and helped pull the ribbons inside the box. So easy to make from scraps around the house - will definitely try more activities as bubs gets a bit older. A fantastic resource, thank you!
We've tried a few activities from the Screen-Free Independent Play Guide with our 2 year old, including the popsicle stick dot match. Setup across the activities we've tried has been quick and easy, with cheap, easy to find items, many of which we already had around the house. I really like that there are adaptations for younger and older children on each activity, so we know exactly how to make it trickier as he grows, so it's not a one and done activity (and we will be able to reuse and start more simple as our younger son gets older too). It's been a great low effort way to give him something screen free to focus on with plenty of activities to pick from. He's been interested each time we've set something up and we're looking forward to trying more activities from the guide.
Easy activities with simple materials- not all things I’d have at home already but good cheap easy purchases that will then be used in a range of ways for future play. The guide has ideas to adapt tasks for older or younger kids and explains the learning behind each. Some my 15 month old is still too young to grasp the idea of but will be good to try in future!
This guide has been great for my son! The activities are simple, use mostly household items, and are easy to set up. They keep him engaged while also supporting his development.

This guide has given me so many great ideas to encourage independent play with my toddler. I definitely struggle to keep her busy while I’m in the kitchen. I set up this activity and she was in to it straight away. The tongs were slightly challenging but she went all in with using her hands anyway. Once she was finished she would tip them out and start again. I was so happy she got the gist of it straight away without much encouragement. I’d highly recommend to any parent wanting to find new ways to challenge and occupy their children with fun and engaging activities.
My daughter loved setting up, creating and playing with these bridges, it was great for her imaginative play! She now always asked to make bridges and is constantly using the popsicle sticks for other activities as well.
Coming into winter I knew I would need something to keep my 7 month old busy and this guide is perfect. Its packed with so many simple and fun activities. I love that all of the activities also have modifications for kids all ages so my baby can still enjoy some of the older kids activities too. Would highly recommend.
We really love this guide! This carparking activity was the first one we tried. It was super easy to set up with stuff we already had at home, and fun for my 3.5 year old to get creative with - we started with front parking the cars, then reversing and then he used his imagination and expanded it into a zoo carpark situation 😂 can't wait to try out more activities from the guide, would recommend for sure :)

We absolutely love this guide! My 15 month old little boy is full of beans, so it’s usually hard to get him to sit still but he loved these activities and actually sat still (WILD!) I also never would have thought of these activities without the guide, so I feel so grateful to have someone like Ella who takes the time to create them. 10/10 recommend for anyone who wants something easy and accessible.
So many activities to choose from, my little boy has become fixated on learning a task and practicing. Keeps him occupied for at least 20minutes for 2 activities. We swapped out a few objects for those we had round home worked a treat!

Kids loved playing with the moon sand I made from the play guide. It’s a little like kinetic sand and playdough. It’s kept in an airtight container and is still useable weeks later

If you’re on the fence about buying these, do it! I wish I’d had these since the day my son was born. Since buying them we’ve used multiple activities already and my son has loved them all. We all know wake windows can feel loooong sometimes.. these make the time fly by! So special to be able to entertain my son whilst teaching him important skills. 1000% recommend to anyone and will definitely be my gift of choice when friends or family have babies! Love them!
We love our Learn with Me Baby digital Cards! I was running out of easy ways to entertain my 5 month old throughout the day. The digital cards provide quick and easy ideas to mix things up a little. We have used the 0-3 months and the 3-6 months interchangeably and each activity is quick and easy to set up. I am looking forward to trying the next activities as little one grows!
The Learn with me Toddler cards are amazing! So many great and easy activities that can all be done with items you have around the house. Having the digital cards means I always have them with me wherever we are!
